10. Philosophy is not just another boring subject
For those who had access to philosophy in school, it is almost certain that have already thought that would never use that kind of knowledge. All the names we learned and all their crazy theories are outdated and can't be apply to our lives, right? Wrong. The Good Place shows us that situations in our routine can be explained by guys such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle or Kant, and that we can also "ask" for their help to change some bad things in our reality. So don't believe that everyone is right just because they hate moral philosophy professors
9. Being 100% racional is not necessarily a good thing
We all heard that classical question "are you more a sentimental or racional person?". Most people value more the racional ones, since the feelings shows to guide us to wrong directions more often that our brain. In this show, we are introduced to a character named Chidi, who tries to analyze all his options in every decision using racional arguments, always trying to reach the "right answer". That makes him the most indecisive man on planet, and also the most unbearable one for those around him. So the lesson here, in my point of view, is that there's nothing wrong with being impulsive in simples decisions, as long as you think carefully about the important ones.
